Venison is one of the most nutrient-rich red meats available. Naturally lean with a rich, distinctive flavour, it’s known for its darker colour and excellent mineral content, particularly iron and vitamin B12. In other words, a little taste of the wild side… without having to catch it.
Our wild-harvest Venison jerky is 100% Australian, slowly air-dried in small batches to preserve flavour and packed locally by us, so we know exactly what goes into every bag—and more importantly, what doesn’t.
Suitable for puppies, kittens, dogs, cats, and seniors as treats or training rewards.
Why Venison?
Venison is considered a novel protein, meaning many pets that struggle with common meats like chicken or beef may tolerate it better. In other words, if the usual suspects cause trouble, Venison is often a good alternative for pets with food sensitivities.

Venison contains higher levels of iron than many other red meats. Iron supports healthy red blood cells and oxygen transport through the body, while vitamin B12 plays an important role in metabolism, nerve function, and energy production.
Complete Protein & Mineral Support

What are Novel Proteins?
A novel protein is one that a pet has not been regularly exposed to, meaning the immune system is less likely to recognise it as a threat. Food allergies typically develop after repeated exposure to common proteins like beef or chicken, where the body begins to react to them. Introducing a different protein can reduce the likelihood of that response. Venison is considered a novel protein, which may be suitable for pets with sensitivities to more common meats, particularly if they haven’t been previously exposed to it.

While incidents with pet treats are rare, we can’t guarantee that any treat is completely risk-free. We recommend keeping an eye on your pets while they enjoy any treats, including ours. Always provide plenty of fresh water since our treats are dry and will rehydrate in their stomach. Just like we need a drink after eating something dry, so do our pets. Remember that although the treat may appear small, its original protein size was 3-5 times larger. Adjust your dog’s diet accordingly, and remember that treats, no matter how great, are not a substitute for a balanced meal.
