Chicken and peanut butter, two of every dog (or cat’s) favourite yummies together at last! – woof!
Great for dogs, cats and seniors** (pets, not people), to use as treats or for training.
Peanut butter might be the last thing our pets would hunt in the wild, but they sure try hunting it around the house! And what dog or cat ‘says no thanks’, to chicken? So, this doggie satay stick (no chillies or sugars were harmed in making this treat) is really a dream come true! Easily broken or cut into any size that would suit your purpose or can be fed whole as a snack or a bribe!
Our droolicious baked Chicken and Peanut Butter Soft Chews are made in Australia from Aussie chicken mince, peanut butter, whole flour from wheat and a dash of food grade potassium.
Tested on animals, none of our test subjects refused these logs of yummy convenience with tons of nutritional benefits (Hyperlink to nutritional info), they all sat nicely hoping for more! (Say all that with a mouthful of peanut butter quickly! You can’t, can you?)
Beware: other dogs may develop peanut envy.
*8 Not suitable for potluck luncheons. They sound delicious but are strictly pet food only!
These little beauties are chook full of goodness: high in protein, zinc, vitamin B3, and vitamin B6 from delicious Australian chicken mince.
Peanut butter adds healthy fats in addition to vitamin E and niacin [1], and makes these treats taste like somewhere over the rainbow bridge (heaven) for dogs. Peanut butter also contains magnesium (excellent for energy production but also for easing muscle pain), manganese (required for dogs to metabolise proteins and carbohydrates), and phosphorus (which keeps dog’s bones and teeth strong) [2].
The chicken mince and peanut butter is then mixed with whole wheat flour – a grain that, like barley, oats, and rice, provides protein and fatty acids that are easily digested. Though it’s currently in vogue to demonise the humble grain, it is in fact essential to our pets’ cognitive, immune, and cardiovascular systems. [3]
Finally, we add a little food-grade potassium in place of salt, to add to the dietary value of the treat.
Please note, too much of a good thing is no longer a good thing, so – as with all treats – use in moderation as a part of a healthy diet.

While incidents with pet treats are rare, we can’t guarantee that any treat is completely risk-free. We recommend keeping an eye on your pets while they enjoy any treats, including ours. Always provide plenty of fresh water since our treats are dry and will rehydrate in their stomach. Just like we need a drink after eating something dry, so do our pets. Remember that although the treat may appear small, its original protein size was 3-5 times larger. Adjust your dog’s diet accordingly, and remember that treats, no matter how great, are not a substitute for a balanced meal.
